Firstly, we are been hearing about the storms in OK. The French are fascinated about them and have sent one of their top journalists to cover it. We are in the south of France near Avignon. Avignon use to be home to the popes back in the 1300’s when an non Italian got elected Pope. The Palace is not one of the prettier places but it sure is large. It was stripped during the Revolution. There is also a bridge built at that time to control the river. Of course all of this was also occupied during Roman times. Weather is nice but the locals are complaining about it being cold.
